Course Syllabus

The second half of our Grade 6 English Language Arts course builds on helping you become stronger as a reader, writer, thinker, speaker, and listener. We will use the book Seedfolks to look at storytelling from different perspectives while also applying the themes in the book to your own life.  In the second half of the course, you will get an introduction to what it means to be a critical reader, how to gather information, and how to put that information into a report.  Along the way, you will continue to work on vocabulary, grammar, and writing skills as well!

Seedfolks, Paul Fleischman (1997)
