Course Overview

This pre-algebra course will review topics covered in previous math courses and expand upon that knowledge in order to prepare you for Algebra I. The course will work with order of operations, algebraic terminology, algebraic properties, integers, factors, fractions, and rational numbers. You will also be challenged to write and solve algebraic equations for everyday situations.

Catalog Description: This course continues the study of Pre-Algebra. Students will work with ratios, inequalities, linear functions, areas, angles, polynomial addition and subtraction, and function graphs.

Pacing

This course can be completed in as few as six weeks or take up to 6 months (180 calendar days). The six weeks are counted from the date of the first lesson submission and not the date of enrollment.

Your final grade will be based on the number of points you earn on assignments and exams.
