Course Syllabus
Welcome
If you look outside your window, what type of landforms do you see? Think about the last social interaction you were experienced. What did everyone do, and how did the people act?
Oftentimes, we think of World Geography as being what we physically see, but it is so much more. Geographers explore both the physical properties of Earth’s surface and examine how human culture interacts with the natural environment.
Course Overview
World Geography B takes students on a journey around the Eastern Hemisphere. With a focus on physical and human geography, you will learn about a region's history as well as examine its political, economic, and cultural characteristics. Oceania, Asia, Africa, and Antarctica are the continents introduced in this course.
